Civic duty.
Almost thirteen days of jury. Thirteen. Sitting on a criminal case of murder. Trying to remain detached has become a good challenge. Thankful for this system, even if it's not perfect.
Jury duty is lamentable, to be sure. I've always enjoyed the experience, if only to gain a better perspective of the system itself. I dare say that being selected for a murder trial would be quite fascinating. I hope that if you are able, you'll share your experience in greater detail. [;
